About Us

The Morton Grove Voice blog was initiated for our community to be informed as to what is really going on in our village. Morton Grove, Illinois, is a small community based off the North Shore of the City of Chicago in the State of Illinois, USA and is a great place to live and more importantly raise a family.

In the Fall of 2006 a need arose for a “voice” to communicate information in our village as to the real news, stories and information that flows to the fellow members of our community. Extensive research into a basic newsletter, a full 4-color magazine and even a full blown website was undertaken over almost two years.

We’ve sat back, learned and listened to the community and saw firsthand how our village operates. Sometimes people agree and sometimes they don’t; but in the end everyone is entitled to their opinions. This blog has been created as a facilitation tool to allow people to see and hear firsthand and thus draw their own conclusions and in no way whatsoever is meant to be derogatory to anyone in the community.

Feel free to enjoy our daily perspectives on the meetings and events we attend throughout our village. Check out our upcoming events and feel free to join the community throughout the village. Also communicate your ideas, viewpoints and opinions with representatives in the community including the Mayor, the Village Trustees, the various department heads and employees of the village, commission chair people and commissioners and even people affiliated with not-for-profits directly linked to Morton Grove such as the Chamber of Commerce, Park District, Library, Historical Society and more!
